This is a 8 inch tall pitcher. The spout was handbuilt and added. The glaze is matte turquoise which always breaks nicely over texture, in this case carving.

The inside is rusty gloss.

It pours well with good cutoff. Good weight.

New work 4/30/15

Three garlic keepers. They are made from chocolate clay. The 2 on the left are glazed with studio oatmeal and the one on the right is glazed with studio shino. The inside is not glazed. They are all a bit heavy.

Continuing my bottle obsession. This one is made from Little Loafers and is glazed with Amaco celadon, Cobalt above and Sky below. There is some glaze overlap.

I don't like the abrupt color contrast. I would like to try this with Cobalt mixed with the white, Snow, and gradually alter the color.

This is one of my favorite pieces ever.

Ellen Buff clay with a dip in studio black. I waxed over the black on the lip and then dipped in studio glossy teal. The black interior looks nice. I did not do a good job of stopping at the line on the bottom. OR the teal could have moved downward a bit.

Next time- Dip in teal then all in black.
