Carved vase

This was one of my tall thin pieces that was much too thick. I reduced the weight with carving. Amaco Iron Lustre, 4 coats, applied as the glaze.

Carved bowls

I finished 4 of these. One is glazed a bit differently but three are white over chocolate clay. The glazed is wiped away over the carved area leaving glaze in the carved lines.

Bottles

I recently decided to challenge myself to make some tall thin forms. I wanted the diameter to be less than my hand. I was using the chocolate clay which I really like with white glaze. The contrast is nice.The curved necks are features, not bugs.

My photography is not very good. I need a different drape.
