Best glaze ever

I liked the overlap on the small bowl from a few days ago so much that I did a large bowl in it. It turned out quite lovely.

 Without direct light, the bowl looks black with blue dots scattered throughout.











In direct light and looking closely, the black is silver and gold. Just beautiful.

Bringing work home

It has been a few weeks since I got anything completed. Partly because of holiday closing and partly because of some traveling but finally some pieces have completed the cycle.

 #282 small bowl. The overlapped black on glossy teal makes a nice color.

 #280, covered dish with a slump lid. Lids have been my downfall. This one fits nicely in certain positions but not in all.

Overall, I am happy with it. I like the size and shape. I'll keep working on lids.

#283, jewelry bowl. I am happy with the glaze. None of the holes filled in with glaze so my technique of scraping the glaze away seems to have worked. And I wanted the mottled look around the holes.
